Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Wicomico County and Surrounding Areas 3-11 p.m. April 6

SALISBURY, MD---The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Wicomico County and surrounding areas from 3-11 p.m. Thursday, April 6.

Severe thunderstorms with damaging wind and hail of 1 inch or larger are possible, with the greatest threat occurring from 3-7 p.m., according to NWS.

Those in the area are encouraged to secure outdoor objects, which may be blown around. Drivers should use extra caution and avoid traveling during hailstorms if possible.
