Ensemble Presents Jazz at Night Wednesday, May 5

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Jazz Ensemble adds a mellow and progressive jazz theme to this year’s spring performance lineup during its Jazz at Night concert 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, in Caruthers Hall Auditorium. Featuring a blend of student and community musicians under the direction of adjunct faculty member Lee Knier, the concert includes lots of swing, bop, fusion and Dixieland jazz, much of it improvised. Guest vocalist Megan Centino performs Peggy Lee’s hit Fever and other selections. Sponsored by the Department of Music, admission is free and the public is cordially invited.
