Nabb Center Presents Tony Tank Display Through January 20
class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---During the past three centuries this area has been part of three nations: first inhabited by Native Americans as the Tundotank village; then owned by the Calvert family of England; and finally, confiscated as British property by the victorious American patriots.
class=""MsoNormal"">The Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture at Salisbury University explores this history in the display “And So It Grew: The Changing Landscape at Tony Tank Creek” through January 20.
class=""MsoNormal"">The display includes a chronology of the history of Tony Tank, as well as pictures, land plats and several Native American artifacts illustrating how this landscape changed over time.
