The Clarke Honors College suggests that an incoming first-year student have a high school GPA of 3.5 to apply for the Clarke Honors College.

Applications from students who have not yet been offered admission to Salisbury University cannot be considered.

Incoming Students with a high school grade-point-average of 4.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) are eligible to be automatically admitted into the Clarke Honors College. Students who wish to be admitted to the program under these conditions are recommended to email the dean of the Honors College Dr. Andrew Martino at apmartino@salisbury.edu with a request for automatic admission. Please note, all students who wish to be considered for an honors scholarship must submit a complete application and essay, regardless of automatic admission.

Students automatically admitted into the Clarke Honors College under these conditions must enroll in an honors course their first semester in order to be considered for full admission.

Requests for automatic admission to the Clarke Honors College because of GPA and/or test scores will only be considered once an application for the CHC has been submitted. We regret that we cannot consider admission unless an application is submitted.
