Next May, we’ll continue Salisbury University’s Centennial Celebrations with the 2026 Commencement Ceremonies — marking 100 years since our very first graduation ceremony in 1926.
Last spring, we celebrated the University’s 100th graduating class since SU was founded in 1925. Now, in Spring 2026, we’ll honor an even bigger milestone: the 100th anniversary of Salisbury University’s very first commencement ceremony. You’ll be part of the Centennial Anniversary Class — a truly once-in-a-century moment in SU history, joining generations of alumni in this unforgettable milestone.
Graduate Ceremony
Maggs Arena
Wednesday, May 20, 2026 – 6:00 p.m.
Undergraduate Ceremony
Sea Gull Stadium
Thursday, May 21, 2026 – 9:00 a.m
Rain or shine, we’ll celebrate our Undergraduate Ceremony at Sea Gull Stadium!
In case of severe weather (lightning or high winds):
- Ceremony may be delayed up to 3 hours
- Indoor viewing and Grad Walk locations will open in Maggs Arena and GAC Assembly Hall
A quick reminder: two registrations required
- Step 1: Apply to Graduate (conferral of your academic degree after all course and degree requirements are complete). Visit the Registrar’s website for more details.
- Step 2: Register to participate in the Commencement ceremony (the celebration of your achievement). Link will be made available on the Commencement website in January
