Panopto

Panopto is the university's supported lecture capture solution at Salisbury University. Panopto provides a hosted media server for videos related to teaching and learning. While designed for capturing the traditional classroom lecture, it is also used for online and flipped classroom lectures, demonstrations and tutorials, as well as student projects and presentations. Presentations are then accessed and embedded within MyClasses.

Faculty who would like to use Panopto during the upcoming semester should:

Check the Classroom Locations and Technology webpage to see if a webcam is available in your assigned classroom.
If not, Submit a Help Request or call the IT Helpdesk (410) 677-5454 and indicate the location of your classroom and a request to equip the room for Panopto.
Attend a Panopto workshop or contact ID&D for a consultation on how to use Panopto.

If you are in a course in which your instructor is using Panopto to provide tutorials, lectures, or class captures - use the following information and handouts to access Panopto recordings through MyClasses.

Equipped Classrooms

Classroom/Meeting Space Locations and Technology

If you need assistance with a smart classroom please contact the IT Help Desk at our main telephone number 410-677-5454. We can provide new user training as well as refresher training on equipment in the classrooms. If you require on-site staff support for events in the classroom, we require a minimum of 48 hours per classroom.

If you need equipment in the Commons, University Center, Holloway Hall Auditorium or other meeting areas besides a classroom, please contact Event Services at 410-548-4597.

For the list of classrooms and their features, please see the EMS Web App at https://schedule.salisbury.edu/ (SU Login required). Once logged in, select the room you are interested in and then click on the Features tab.
