Mr. Jason Curtin
Vice President of Advancement & Alumni Relations
Executive Director, Salisbury University Foundation, Inc.
Jason Curtin was named Vice President of Advancement and Alumni Relations at Salisbury University in February 2017 after taking the role on an interim basis in September 2016. He also serves as Executive Director of the SU Foundation, Inc., the University’s affiliated 501(c)(3).
A 1998 SU graduate with a degree in Communication Arts, Jason returned to campus in 2004 to serve as Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving, and later became Director of Development and Deputy Director of the SU Foundation, Inc. In 2012, he was named Assistant Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations. He earned his M.Ed. in higher education from the University of South Carolina in 2001.
Prior to joining SU, Jason served as Assistant Director and Interim Director of Alumni Relations at Furman University in South Carolina.
During his SU career, Jason has played a key role in multiple capital campaigns, leading to some $115 million in cumulative gifts benefitting the University and its students. In 2024, he participated in an intensive educational seminar in Germany as the recipient of a Fulbright International Education Administrators Award.
Beyond the University, Jason is Treasurer and Past President of the Optimist Club of Salisbury and has served as a member of the Sunrise Rotary Club of Salisbury.
A native of Maryland, Jason lives in Salisbury with his wife, Katie. He is the parent of three children and a jolly basset hound.
