COVID-19 Precautions Continue for Fall Semester

Crisis Resources

Due to the ongoing pandemic regarding COVID-19, the Counseling Center staff will be working virtually. Although clinicians will be unavailable for in-person appointments they will be available to assist students with life-threatening crises and emergencies through teletherapy during regular business hours Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Students can call the Counseling Center at 410-543-6070 and communicate their need to speak to a counselor as soon as possible. Examples of emergencies include suicidal or homicidal ideation, sexual or other assaults, symptoms of psychosis, and/or other urgent life circumstances.

Students who have urgent mental health concerns outside of regular business hours can use the center’s After-Hours Support Line by calling 833-631-1066. The support line is available to support students experiencing any kind of mental health crisis.

Below are additional local, state, and nationwide crisis resources that include in person, over the phone, and text options.
